Wonderbar! is Professor John Hyatt and his AI voice Processor Hyatt, in mystical, musical, missive collaboration with D-Moss. The videos use AI generated video imagery made by reseeding images and footage from our older collaborative works from 2011, including still images of some of John’s Watercolours, germinating them with prompts derived from emailed conversations, creating mashed, AI-cycled transmission-visions of The Pilot of Bee Patrol, John’s spacebound alter-ego, with his companion bees and owls as he shapeshifts across aeons. John’s AI Voice, Processor Hyatt, was developed by Tom Hyatt to aid John’s communication as his own voice became compromised by surgery and treatments for throat cancer. Processor Hyatt aided John to to deliver the lecture ‘The Patient Experience’. We discussed the idea of using the sound files to make music. John suggested a Kraftwerk influenced electronic sound, and then as the songs developed he chose the name, Wonderbar!.
